What is expected out of Kennedy Hall staff?

Teamwork: Working together ensures that the facility runs smoothly with as little to no hiccups.

Patience: This will make or break you. As a faculty memeber you must demonstrate the patience needed to create a successful term. With not only the students but also other faculty members and the student's families.

Commitment: A semester is 6 weeks long, you need to be able to commit to the time that you have stated you would be available. We understand RL happens, but make sure to pick a day and time that you know there will the least amount of distractions.

Knowledge: Have the answers to any question a student or family member might have. If you do not have the answer, provide the website or name of the Dean so that their question can be answered. “I don’t know.” is unacceptable.

Communication: Be sure to stay in contact with other faculty and the directors. This ensures that everyone is on the same page and there is no mishap with miscommunication.

Enforce: Be knowledgeable about the rules and conduct so that enforcement of the rules can be handled correctly.

Experience: We will only be considering people who have had experience teaching in SL before. This includes but not limited to; teaching in previous schools as a teacher/sub/coach, teaching lessons for individual use, partaking in a coaching environment.
No matter what role you take on in Kennedy Hall, we strive to make it a positive and fun experience for everyone. While we continue to grow as a school, we hope to bring our faculty with us.
