Kennedy Hall offers on campus co-ed dorm living. The two dorm buildings are located on the lower part of campus and offers students the chance to an authentic Preparatory School experience. Read below for prices, room arrangements and rules before applying for a dorm.

 

The dorms are 4 students per room. Each room will include a personal bed, a personal side table, two dressers and two desks. A request can be made to share the dorm with friends or family, however every dorm ROOM is gender specific. Meaning, no co-ed rooms. If you do not request to share a room with a specific person(s), you will be assigned dorm mates.

 

The price per person is 400L per semester. This will give you 20 prims for personal usage - such as hanging up frames or rezzing some personal touches. Keep in mind that you are sharing a room with other students, be respectful of what you are rezzing out. Beds are assigned to students, please find your name and pay the box to remove it.

 

Dorm Rules must be followed at all times:

1. No offensive or discriminative language, behavior or objects. This means no rude/sexual/ect gestures, no hanging up nude/sexual/discriminative themed pictures or objects, and above all else, respecting each other.

 

2. No adult conduct - this is enforced and will remove you from the dorm and school without warning. Most students attending will be under the age of 18, meaning any person(s) participating in any adult content will be in direct violation of LL TOS. We will not tolerate this behavior.

3. Pay your rental fee on time. You will recieve 1 24 hr notice of being late, then at 48 hrs your stuff will be removed and the bed will be given up to someone on the wait list. You can pay up to 4 weeks in advance.

 

4. Reframe from using excessive amounts of gestures. This is an Role Play environment, and while we don’t expect paragraph emoting, we wish people to stay in character. Meaning represent yourself as a teenager - and not a gesture box. This includes but not limited to - sound gestures, loud noises, wild animations, group dancers, ect. If we receive complaints about excessive use of gestures, you will only receive 1 warning before you are removed from the dorms.

 

5. Do not rez heavy scripted items - they will be returned to you and you will only receive 1 warning before you are removed from the dorms.

 

6. No nudity - even if you are alone in your dorm and are changing into your uniform or into different clothes, wear undergarments at all times. Any nudity that is reported will result in one warning before removal of the dorms.

 

7. Respect each other and have fun - while there are strict rules that are enforced, we expect every one to have some fun with this. Make some new friends, memories and enjoy your semester at Kennedy Hall while living on campus.
